March for the Fallen is an event for the military and civilian communities to join annually to honor the memory of those Service Members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of our great nation. The events are the 28 and 14 mile marches, 5k run/walk, a virtual 28 mile hand cycle and a virtual 28 mile march for deployed service members only. Online participant registrations will be accepted until 30 minutes prior to the start of each event start time on the day of the event, Saturday September 24, 2022.
**A note about deadline for t-shirts based on location (deployed or in person). Event items may be available after Saturday September 24, 2022. but are not guaranteed.
Event class changes will be accepted ONLY through Thursday September 22, 2022 via email to Jenna Price at email@example.com. Class changes will not be processed on site during day prior or same day pre-registration check-in.

28 AND 14 MILE HEAVY EVENT
Participants are required to march with a 35lb minimum rucksack or pack. Mandatory weigh-in will be at Strickler Field on the day of the event from 5:00 a.m. through 6:45 a.m. Post event weigh-in is required only for the top finishers. Those who do not have a recorded pre-event weigh-in will be disqualified from awards.
28 mile and 14 mile march teams must consist of 5 members, no more and no less. Teams in excess of 5 members will be disqualified from team awards. All 5 team members must cross the finish line within 20 seconds of each other. Failure to do so will disqualify the team from team awards.
ON SITE PRE-REGISTRATIONS CHECK-IN AND REGISTRATION
Packet pick up must be completed in person by the registrant! Packets will not be released otherwise for safety purposes.
Pre-registered participant class changes will not be accepted on site during check-in. Participants may make class changes online through the deadline on September 22, 2022 via email to Jenna Price at firstname.lastname@example.org
DAY PRIOR CHECK-IN/REGISTRATION will be on Friday September 23 from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. at the USO, Building 13-190. Located on Scheld Ave across from Strickler Field.
SAME DAY CHECK-IN/ REGISTRATION will begin on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 5:00 a.m. at Strickler Field. Same day registration and check-in for each event will close 15 minutes prior to each event start time NO EXCEPTIONS.
From Saturday, September 17 through Saturday, September 24, registration will increase to $50 due to the proximity of the event date. We will have a limited number of registrations available for purchase on-site. We encourage participants to register online ahead of time.
Bibs are required to participate. Those found on the course without a bib will be removed from the course.
