Runners Run It Forward

A crisis hit and the running community was there to support the American Red Cross, an amazing humanitarian organization. GoneForaRun.com reached out to their running community during the COVID19 pandemic to help raise funds for the Red Cross as well as supporting one another by wearing Gone For a Run's 'Running is Not Canceled' t-shirt.

People Proudly Supporting Running Is NOT Canceled

In just a few weeks, March/April 2020, Gone For a Run has raised over $18,000 for the American Red Cross and the campaign is still going strong. Gone For a Run is proud of its 'Run It Forward' donation programs that gives back to the community and charities. In 2013 Gone For a Run donated over $23,000 to the One Fund Boston in support of families recovering from the Boston Marathon tragedy. In addition, every month GoneForaRun.com hosts a virtual race and a percentage of each race is donated to a designated charity.

The Gone For a Run 'Running is Not Canceled' campaign empowered runners all across the country to keep running for health and well-being during the pandemic. Runners have been faced with isolation, canceled races and running events and this unifying campaign reminded the running community that we can still run together by sharing our 'social distancing' runs on social media and running tracking devices such as Strava and Garmin. $5 of each 'Running is Not Canceled' products are donated to the American Red Cross. So, a big call-out to those runners that helped raise those well needed funds for the American Red Cross by supporting Gone For a Run's 'Running is Not Canceled' donation program.

The American Red Cross is an amazing organization and its support to the American people is awe inspiring.
