This event brings the city together and makes visiting runners feel like part of the community by fundraising for the local Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. Each entrant is given free entrance to the museum with their registration. Though more of a somber theme, the marathon begins with a second of silence for each of the lives lost in the Oklahoma City bombing, and the course has 168 banners - one for each of the bombing victims - along the route as a powerful reminder to celebrate life.
This race is still offering a virtual option as well as some great VIP packages to upgrade your race day experience! One of the best features of this race is the training program. As an add-on to your registration, you can also sign up for a 16-week customized training program to help make sure you can crush your PR.
