Last week, I wrote about the newest addition to our Virtual Races, the Kiss Me, I’m a Runner 5K Virtual Race. As with all the Virtual Races, it’s for you – and your friends – to run on your own time, wherever you like to run. We’ve even had some people do their Virtual Races on their home treadmills due to things like snowstorms that kept them from their favorite outdoor running spots.  The popularity of our Virtual Races is growing with each new one, and this one is no different – so hurry up and sign up today before it sells out.  Space is limited!

All of that said, the Gone for a RUN leprechauns (we have no idea where they came from, but we’ve all seen a few running around the office) got an idea and decided to share some of their “luck o’ the Irish” with you.  They swiped some of our medals on the day they were delivered and engraved them with special gift certificate codes, redeemable on future orders. All in all, we’ll be giving away over $300 worth of gift certificates as part of the Lucky Pot O’ Gold Gift Certificate contest. Winners will be able to use them for anything you like – running gear, upcoming Virtual Races, gifts for your running pals, or even on our sister sites, LuLaLax.com or ChalkTalkSPORTS.com. It’s completely random, not unlike the idea of us having actual leprechauns in the office doing these things, so here’s hoping luck is on your side!

When you get your Virtual Run race packet, be sure to check your medal carefully to see if you are one of the lucky winners!
