Gone For A Run is about celebrating running.

RUN WITH US BLOG

Come, run along with us as we share our joy of everything running.

Running events in the United States are not going out of style anytime soon. In fact, they are likely to become even more popular. In 2012, an estimated 57 million Americans went jogging or running at least once. That same year, more than 15,000 5K events were held in the U.S. In addition, every year over 500,000 runners participate in a marathon. Outside of the U.S., running is equally revered, from the modern Olympics to the ancient Greek ones. Needless to say, running and runners in America are not running out of steam (no pun intended).

Chances are, you know at least one person in your life -- a friend, a coworker, a family member, etc. -- who likes to run. You may even know someone who has participated in a race. If so, one thing you can do to show him or her that you care is by giving a gift especially geared toward runners. For example, why not give them temporary running tattoos? They will look great on the track! They are also easily removable. There are other gift ideas, too, including:

    • Runners car magnets

    • Runners ID bands

    • Runners wine glasses

    • Running decals

    • Running jewelry

    • Runners headbands, and even

    • Running necklace charms

Temporary running tattoos are just one option. There are a variety of gift ideas -- way more than this list -- to get for your friend or special someone who is completing a race. One thing that is better than receiving a medal at the end of a race is receiving a medal and a gift with it!

Make your friend or loved one smile with temporary running tattoos and other gifts. You will, as they say, hit the ground running!

What do you think about these gift ideas? Do you or anyone you know run competitively? Feel free to leave a comment or question at the bottom. Happy trails!
