RUN WITH US BLOG

Come, run along with us as we share our joy of everything running.

Spice Up Your Christmas Running Gear

There’s nothing quite like a Christmas run, whether you’re heading out on your own (perhaps even before the presents have been opened and the family has breakfast) or in an organized holiday 5K, 10K, half marathon, or marathon.  It’s such a festive time of the year, with lights and decorations all along the route, it’s almost impossible to not wear something special that shows your enthusiasm for the season, and the run. Hey, it might be the trick to your new PR, which you can be humble and call a “Christmas miracle”, even though you know it was all your hard work and extra training.

You can add some Christmas style to your usual running gear with a Santa face runner’s T-Shirt featuring a stylized version of the holiday icon himself. (The design is also available on a performance hoodie, which will help keep you warm and dry.) Top it off with a runner’s Santa hat and a pair of candy cane socks and you’re all set.

Speaking of candy canes… can we interest you in a runner’s cape to match those socks? It’s 40” long, has a comfortable VELCRO® closure, looks impressive trailing behind you as you run. (For that one race, you are not simply a runner – you are a superhero who happens to be running!)

And if that’s not enough? No worries. We’ve put together complete Christmas running outfits with shirts, running tutus, socks, arm sleeves, and other accessories (depending on your choice of outfit) so you can be the most festive runner in town – head to toe.

Have some fun with the “ugly sweater” tradition – and run in an outfit that pays homage to the mighty ugly sweater in all its glory. Alternately, you could head out and show your love for the unsung heros of Christmas, the elves who do all the work while Santa takes all the credit with our fun elf running outfit. Not that we’re knocking the big guy – because we have a couple of super cute Santa running outfits, including one with a cape and one without.

Each item is sold separately, so you can pick and choose and mix and match, but you do get a 15% discount on the total sale price if you buy the outfit as packaged.  It’s our little Christmas gift to you.

And if you really want to go all out and show everyone how festive you are, head out for your run wearing our tinsel Christmas tree running hat. There will be no missing you in a crowd of runners with this sparkling tower of tinsel on your head.

The only runner who will be more festive is the one who goes all out in a full Santa suit.

Finally, if you don’t have a race to run, but really want to participate in something, there’s always our “Catch Me If You Can” Virtual 5K. You’ll not only get an authentic race bib and a medal that you can use as a cookie cutter and/or to make Christmas decorations, you’ll also receive your choice of a gift – a pair of socks, touchscreen gloves, or a Christmas multi-functional headband. There are also some great discounts on Christmas apparel for virtual runners, to say thank you for being part of our virtual race community. The race is officially between December 19th and 26th.  Hurry! Not only is it selling quickly, but you need to order by December 7th to guarantee on-time race packet arrival.
