Run-Dog-Run-Virtual-5K-Recap

Our Run Dog Run Virtual 5K ended this past weekend and the response was overwhelming.  So many smiling faces with their medals, and so many proud dogs with their dog tags!  If we learned one thing from this race is our runners’ dogs absolutely proved themselves to be man’s – and woman’s – best friends, running loyally with their humans.

We loved the stories and photos on our Facebook page – and seeing how many people rescued their faithful canine running partners,  which made it even more rewarding that, together, we raised over $500 for Running for Rescues, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless animals around the country by providing financial assistance to animal shelters in need.

We received so many great photos, we made a video to share them.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Run Dog Run Virtual 5K. We hope you – and your dog – had a great run.  There was so much love and positive energy in this race, it really was heartwarming for us. Keep following GoneForaRun.com for more virtual races every month in 2016 – and beyond.
