Winter Vinecki is a 16-year-old athlete who is not only a runner, but also a triathlete, obstacle course racer and aerial skier.
Starting at age 5, Winter entered in 5k races. A few years down the road, she went on to create a non-profit raising money to fight prostate cancer, after her dad passed away. She wanted to set a goal to reach, in honor of her dad, and soon became the youngest person to complete marathons in ALL SEVEN continents! Imagine accomplishing all of this at the age of 16, before even graduating high school!
Thanks to the athleticism passed along from her mother, not only is Winter an amazing runner, but also an aerial skier. Training, five hours a day, five to six days a week, Winter explains that being mentally strong is just as important as physically strong, living by her mantra "Never Give In!" She stays 110% focused during her training hoping to take part in the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Winter Vinecki is an inspirational athlete who shows us that a positive mindset can take us a long way. We must always believe in ourselves and push our limits, with all fears aside, to achieve our goals!
