This beanie has ended my frustration with headlamps, and given me the light and warmth I need to get out running in the early morning or late evening. LOVE THIS BEANIE!

Is light on beannie powered by batteries? What kind?

The light does have a battery but it is rechargeable! Simply plug the LED light into any powered USB port to charge the devise. Simply remove the protective USB cover and plug into USP port.

Is this light more for others to be able to see you or for the runner to be able to see the road trail ahead?

The answer is BOTH! This light is very bright and is meant for visibility in the dark as well as safety so other people can see you.
