Do you love running and Halloween? Are you ready to run 3.1 spooky miles? Here’s your chance with the Ghouls on the Run Virtual Race!  This great race scheduled for October 29 to October 31, and is a super way to spend part of your Halloween weekend with local runners – and the whole Gone for a Run Virtual Race community – running or walking your preferred 3.1 mile path.  When you register, choose between a fun bright orange T-shirt or tank top as part of your race packet, which will also contain an authentic race bib and a glow in the dark medal (because what’s cooler than a medal? A medal that glows!) Register for this creepy-crawly fun race today – space is limited.

Not sure if virtual races are for you? No worries. Since they don’t really have rules, you can’t do them incorrectly! Even though most of the virtual racers do run on the official days, there is nothing stopping you from running it earlier or later, as your schedule permits. You don’t even have to run! Lots of people walk the races – or do a mix of both walking and running – depending on how long they have been running and what they are used to.  Not only is there nobody who is going to judge you for that, as part of our Virtual Race community, we’re going to encourage you to keep going, and to keep setting new goals. There’s no runner who started out running marathons at full speed, and no runner who ever said, “well, that’s it, I am all out of goals.”  The fact that you got involved, and were a part of a virtual race is an accomplishment in and of itself – that’s why we give you a medal. And I may have mentioned this, but the medal glows.

As for this great race, when you sign up, you are also contributing to charity. This race, we’ll be running to raise money for Friends of Jaclyn, a foundation that supports children who are struggling with pediatric cancer and their families. We’re honored to be working with them and helping them do their very meaningful work.
