RUN WITH US BLOG

Come, run along with us as we share our joy of everything running.

Mother’s Day is May 8th, and if you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate Mother’s Day, look no further than the One Bad Mother Runner Virtual 5K. I must note, though – slots are filling fast, so if you want to buy this for your mom – or do the race with her – it will sell out soon. I say this because I don’t want you to be left out and have to get your mom something cheesy like flowers hastily bought from the guy on the side of the road (or worse – balloons. Who wants a gift of balloons?)

Our One Bad Mother Runner Virtual 5K is set up so you can run (or walk – great if mom isn’t already a runner… or mom is and you aren’t!) the 3.1 miles on your turf and your terms, any time between May 7th and May 13th – and get a bunch of cool stuff as well. You have your choice between a runner’s fitted tank or a unisex t-shirt, and also get a medal with detachable running charm, and an authentic race bib. If you’re an avid runner and have been trying to get your mom to join you, this gift might be the incentive she needs. And if she’s the runner who is always trying to get you to go with her? Well, I can’t think of a better gift than doing the virtual 5K with her. And if you’re both runners, well… I don’t believe I need to sell you on this idea in the slightest. You know what to do.

One-Bad-Mother-Runner_Race-MedalThink about how cute it would be when you finished and had your matching charms to wear as a reminder of what you accomplished.

Another reason I really love the idea of giving this as a Mother’s Day gift is, it’s more than just a physical gift – it’s the gift of quality time spent together, working for a goal (finishing the race) and creating a memory that you’ll both be able to look back on fondly, with stories to tell friends and other family members about the Mother’s Day spent running together.

So, make this Mother’s Day an extra-special one and not only give your mom a gift she can unwrap, but give her the gift of running and time spent together. On the great lists of gifts you won’t regret, I promise this is up there.

One-Bad-Mother-Runner_womens packageIt really is an awesome package.

Happy Mother’s Day to you, if you’re a mom, and to your mom. Have a great day – and a great run – and many more of both.
